NTECL Vallur under CSR conducted the baseline survey for Girl Empowerment Mission-2024.

A total of 36 girl students from schools in nearby villages were selected for the baseline survey and Medical Check up. This survey is conducted before the start of the Girl Empowerment Mission at the stations to assess the cognitive abilities of girls and prepare their training modules accordingly.

Under the guidance of Dr. Anamika Basu, DGM(Medical), Dr. Bhavani, GDMO-Adhoc along with lab technicians the medical check up was conducted successfully.

The survey also serves the purpose of gauging the effectiveness of the GEM program by conducting an end-line survey after the completion of the GEM program to evaluate the growth of girl students.

NTECL GEM 2024 Co-ordinators team Smt. Indumathi, Senior Manager (Chemistry), Smt. K, Sundari Pappu, Senior Manager (HR), Ms. Malavika Liz George, Executive (CSR), and the team from Bennett Coleman were present on the occasion.
